Official Invitation from the EFCC Kwara State
Conscientious Youth received an official invitation from the EFCC Kwara State Command to participate as part of the monitoring team for the 2022 asset auction exercise held at the Commission’s office in Ilorin.
The inclusion of Conscientious Youth in the monitoring committee underscored the organization’s growing reputation for transparency, accountability, and civic engagement across the state.
During the auction, the team closely observed the entire process—from registration to bidding and final allocation—ensuring that due process was followed and that the exercise remained fair, open, and free from irregularities.
Their presence reinforced public confidence in the EFCC’s commitment to conducting transparent auctions in line with federal guidelines.
One of the Conscientious Youth team leaders was also interviewed by journalists covering the event.
In the interview, he highlighted the importance of civil society participation in oversight activities, noting that collaboration between anti-corruption agencies and youth-focused organizations strengthens public trust and promotes integrity in government-led processes.
